Are you playing the Dota 2 Beta? Then you surely might have noticed that last inactive tab on the menu that says “Socialize.” It’s pretty obvious from the name as to what it might be for but here are some finer details that might get you interested.
The Socialize tab might sport a Team Management system that will allow players to create their own team and manage them. Using these teams, players will be eligible to sign up on Dota 2′s Team Match Making system along with other members of the same team.
Once in a team and on the match making pool, the set of 5 players will be pit against another team which has signed up for a similar match making ensuring the finding of clan battles much easier and more exciting.
Rather than having new content roll out on to the Test Build for a week of testing, Valve has said that the content will now be added to the build on Wednesdays which is a day ahead of the primary update. By doing so, they would be able to fix up any game breaking bugs immediately and go live with the new content and patch on the main Dota 2 client the very next day.
This will definitely cut out the long and anxious wait of all those testers out there.
Stay tuned for more information!
